Nokia has started releasing v30-level firmware updates for its 5800 XpressMusic handset around the world. Unfortunately, this new build is just a maintenance release focused on bugs and other minor issues -- the main feature of the update is the addition of email notifications on the home screen for Nokia Messaging. So it's not necessary for everyone.

Today Nokia has officially unveiled its two new handsets, the E72 and 5530 XpressMusic at the company's Connection 09 event in Singapore. The E72 is a successor to the popular E71, and includes a 5Mpix camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, integrated compass, 10.2Mbps HSDPA support, and an optical navigation pad; all for €350 (about $489) when it's released in the third quarter of this year.
