Google has announced the availability of the new YouTube Client for the BlackBerry Storm. That's nice, though the Storm's touchscreen could handle the site's web interface just fine.

Anyway, YouTube client’s features include:

• Browse millions of videos, including most viewed, top rated, and the day’s featured videos;
• Access your YouTube account on your phone and access your Favorites, Playlists, and your own uploaded videos;
• Upload videos directly from your phone and see them appear within moments on both the mobile site and YouTube.

Helio Ocean received a new YouTube Mobile application that will allow users to watch, rate and comment, a well as upload new videos to the famous website directly from the handset.

You'll have the ability to share videos with people from your contact list, add files to My Favorites and to create new video playlists.

Verizon Wireless customers can now record and upload videos directly to YouTube using MMS service. LG has recently signed an agreement with YouTube to create a mobile phone fully compatible with the service, which will and allow users to upload, view and share videos online without using computers and free of charge.

First YouTube-enabled handsets will become available worldwide at end of this year.

According to The Wall Street Journal Verizon is going to a deal with YouTube. For cell phones the videos would be available via Verizon Wireless' VCast video service, and also through Verizon's FiOS TV service.
