YouTube Client Now on BlackBerry Storm

Google has announced the availability of the new YouTube Client for the BlackBerry Storm. That's nice, though the Storm's touchscreen could handle the site's web interface just fine.

Anyway, YouTube client’s features include:

  • Browse millions of videos, including most viewed, top rated, and the day’s featured videos;
  • Access your YouTube account on your phone and access your Favorites, Playlists, and your own uploaded videos;
  • Upload videos directly from your phone and see them appear within moments on both the mobile site and YouTube.

Helio Ocean received a new YouTube Mobile application that will allow users to watch, rate and comment, a well as upload new videos to the famous website directly from the handset.

You'll have the ability to share videos with people from your contact list, add files to My Favorites and to create new video playlists.

Verizon Wireless customers can now record and upload videos directly to YouTube using MMS service. To use this new feature all registered users must update their YouTube accounts by creating a mobile profile . Then to upload the video one must send an MMS** to YTUBE (98823). Videos will post live in just minutes.

YouTube on LG Phones

LG has recently signed an agreement with YouTube to create a mobile phone fully compatible with the service, which will and allow users to upload, view and share videos online without using computers and free of charge.

First YouTube-enabled handsets will become available worldwide at end of this year.

Apple announced that the upcoming iPhone will include a YouTube application that will wirelessly stream YouTube's content to the device over Wi-Fi or EDGE networks and play it on iPhone's display.

Nokia N-Series devices will enjoy YouTube videos

Nokia signed a cooperation treaty with YouTube to bring videos to Nokia Nseries devices. The videos will be accessible using a Nokia Web Browser with Mini Map and YouTube's mobile site. As well, YouTube video RSS feeds will be compatible with Nokia's new Video Center application. YouTube's main site uses Flash video but the new mobile site will utilize H.264 /AVC.

Verizon Wireless going to Feature YouTube Videos

Verizon Wireless made a deal by which YouTube videos will be viewable on cell phones that will also allow users to upload videos shot with their camera phones.

YouTube will deliver a sampling of the most popular videos to Verizon Wireless' VCAST subscribers in the United States providing customers with a variety of videos, enabling users to access video clips on any one of the Verizon Wireless VCAST-enabled handsets.

Verizon has a deal with YouTube in Talks

According to The Wall Street Journal Verizon is going to a deal with YouTube. The purpose is to distribute web videos via the carrier's wireless and terrestrial TV networks it would involve the top 50-100 YouTube videos at any time. For cell phones the videos would be available via Verizon Wireless' VCast video service, and also through Verizon's FiOS TV service.

YouTube will be available on mobile

As you probably know, some time earlier Google purchased YouTube.

YouTube chief Chad Hurley announce that you'll be able to take your YouTube with you soon as within the next year. YouTube hopes to "have something on a mobile device".

It is expected there would be a parade of deals with YouTube that create commercial relationships between major media companies and the video-networking site.
