BlackBerry Porsche Design Pí9982 To Be Refreshed

27 Oct 2014
BlackBerry Porsche Design Pí9982 To Be Refreshed BlackBerry has made a name for itself over the years when it comes to the corporate smartphone scene, and while the company has fallen on rather difficult times in recent memory, this does not mean that they are going to throw in the towel just like that.Word on the street has it that one of their more posh offerings, the Porsche Design P’9982, is well on its way to receive a refresh. The refresh will be cosmetic, or so it seems, where one will be able to choose from black on black from early next month onward.

Android 5.0 Lollipop headed for Samsung Galaxy S5 in December Rumor is the Galaxy Note 4 could score Lollipop goodies as early as November, with the Galaxy S5 next in line the ensuing month.Granted, pegging exact dates for software rollouts is hardly science, and a lot of things can come up between now and December.Besides, another reason you shouldn’t get too excited and count on lollipops gracing your Christmas tree is these things always roll out in phases.

Android Wear's latest update adds GPS support and offline music playback The new update comes with two major features. The first is GPS support, which makes it possible for Wear apps to track distance, routes, elevation and speed without having a phone nearby. This is a welcome feature for runners, hikers and bicyclists who don't like exercising or training with armband cases or handling extra baggage during their workouts.Sadly, this doesn't do any good for existing Wear users whose devices don't come with built-in GPS sensors.

Facebook launched anonymous Rooms

26 Oct 2014
Facebook launched anonymous Rooms Facebook's new Rooms app is weird, and it isn't long after installation that you figure out why. You don't log in with your Facebook credentials. Your profile picture appears nowhere. It doesn't tap into your contacts. If Rooms' iOS-only App Store listing didn't proudly proclaim it was a Facebook product, you'd almost certainly never know it was brewed within the social giant's cavernous confines.Seems a little off-kilter for a chat app, especially one with this pedigree.
