Amazon’s rumored 3D smartphone is set to be announced tomorrow, June 18th.
We’ve heard tale that Amazon’s new device will be an AT&T exclusive, and a new report from the Wall Street Journal reiterates that rumor. Amazon and AT&T already partner to provide Kindle tablets will data service, so no surprises here.
The Android-based device is said to deliver a 3D UI, utilizing at least 6 normal cameras, and 4 infrared camera on the front which will track a user’s eye movements. The device is expected to come with a 4.7 inch screen, 2GB of RAM and a newer Snapdragon chip, possibly the 801 or 805.
