Nokia, the Finnish handset vendor, announced today, that Nokia Corp.’s Mobile Search platform will integrate with Microsoft Corp.’s Live Search features to streamline mobile information searches on Nseries smart phones.
The Mobile Search resides on Nokia devices’ menu. It allows users to get results quicker than if they had to use the phone’s Web browser. The Mobile Search application is expected to be available for N80 Internet Edition, N73, N93, N70, N71, 6630, 6680, 6681 and it is also offered as a free download for select Nokia S60 devices from http://www.nokia.com/mobilesearch.
Live Search will provide advanced web search results in 14 languages to enable on-the-fly access to the information.
