In a short Weibo post, the company’s CEO Lei Jun confirmed the news, adding that the “Youth Edition” model will go for as little as 1799 Yuan (about $294).
According to GizChina, this model will be launched as a direct rival to the Meizu MX4.
The only difference between the two different versions will be in the amount of RAM. Whereas the regular Mi4 comes with 3GB, the Youth Edition will top at 2 gigs.
No word whether the Mi4 Youth Edition will ever be available outside of China, though.
