Sprint will offer its subscribers in Denver and Indianapolis a new femtocell device to help improve in-home reception. The Airvave is a small pluggable unit, an equivalent to T-Mobile's HotSpot @Home, which uses home broadband connection to extend regular cellular coverage up to 5000 square feet. Up to 3 people can make calls from an Airave at once. The device will be available from Sprint for $50 with an additional monthly service fee of $15 for individuals or $30 for families, including unlimited calling from the Airave.
