According to The Wall Street Journal Verizon is going to a deal with YouTube. The purpose is to distribute web videos via the carrier's wireless and terrestrial TV networks it would involve the top 50-100 YouTube videos at any time. For cell phones the videos would be available via Verizon Wireless' VCast video service, and also through Verizon's FiOS TV service.
At the beginning you will be able only to view videos, although as the plan calls for Verizon Wireless goes users also are going to be able to shoot and upload video to YouTube.
