Samsung has finally announced its i900 Omnia. We knew about its features long before its announcement, but let's recap them anyway:
- Networks: quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE + HSDPA 7.2Mbps;
- Connectivity: USB, stereo Bluetooth (A2DP), Wi-Fi;
- Display: 3.2" WQVGA (240×400 pixels) touchscreen;
- Camera: 5Mpix with auto-focus, ace and smile detection, auto-panorama shots;
- OS/UI: Windows Mobile 6.1 with Samsung's TouchWiz UI;
- CPU: Marvell 624MHz;
- Other: built-in GPS, FM tuner, accelerometer for auto-rotation, optical mouse;
- Memory: 8GB or 16GB, that can further be expanded with microSD memory cards
The phone will be available from June 2008 in different areas of the world. The European launch is scheduled for July 2008.
