T-Mobile to Announce its Android Phone on September 23

T-Mobile has confirmed that it will announce the first Android-based phone (G1) at an event in New York City on September 23rd. The release is scheduled for the end of October, and while the price remains unknown, it's been said that HTC plans to ship around 600,000 to 700,000 units of the handset.
