By launching Sprint Mobile Email, Sprint is going to improve mobile messaging for its customers. This application is a new downloadable email client powered by SEVEN that provides easy access to multiple email accounts in one place. By using Sprint Mobile Email users can access their accounts from AOL, Windows Live and Yahoo! As well, customers can add other POP and IMAP email accounts to access through the service. Besides, using this service Sprint customers can view each email account they have set up on a separate tab at the top of the screen.
Sprint Mobile Email includes such features as:
- The ability to compose messages while outside data coverage (ex.on an airplane) and save them for later sending
- The ability to view other folders (ex.sent messages, deleted messages, drafts)
- The option to enable push mail notification to automatically synchronize the user's mailbox.
- The option to enable mail alerts to receive an audible alert whenever a new message arrives.
Sprint Mobile Email is available for download to Sprint data subscribers on select Sprint and Nextel phones with no additional charges.
