DoCoMo F-04A is the latest cell phone in the carrier's SMART series. This simple clamshell will be released in Japan in February or March 2009, and will sport the following features:

- 0.4" 12 x 56 monochrome FSTN display;
- microSD/SDHC memory card slot;
- 2Mpix camera with autofocus;
- VGA resolution camera for video calls;
- Built-in mobile wallet;
- Mobile Google Maps application;
- 1-Seg support
