Huawei has officially launched its new U8230 handset, which was first shown at MWC earlier this year. Full mspecs weren't announced, but we do know it will feature a 3.5" touchscreen display and a 1500mAH battery, which is said to be the largest battery "among Android-powered handsets currently available." Well, that's logical, since the only Android handset that exists for quite a while now is the G1, and it's battery is far from perfect.
A head to head comparison between the U8230 and the upcoming Windows Mobile-powered C8000 would be lovely. Pricing has not yet been revealed but both handsets should hit Asia and Europe some time in the second half of 2009.
