Toshiba TG01 launched in Japan as the T-01A

Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo and Toshiba have launched today one of  this year's hottest handsets, the T-01A, which is the same TG01 device revealed by Toshiba back in February. It's features include:

• Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon CPU;
• 4.1" WVGA (800 x 480) resistive touchscreen display;
• HSDPA;
• GPS;
• Wi-Fi;
• Toshiba's custom-built UI;
• Windows Mobile 6.1 OS

There was no word on possible releases outside the homemarket yet.
