Sony Ericsson announced the new W660i Walkman Phone. The device is available in two colors Black and Rose Red. The W660i runs on UMTS 2100 and GPRS 900/1800/1900 Networks and features TrackID so users when need to identify a piece of music simply record a few seconds of the track and TrackID sends the clip to the Gracenote Mobile MusicID database. And quickly receives the answers back to your phone. The new phone can store up to 470 full-length songs (in eAAC+ format) on the 512MB Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) that can be expandable up to 1GB to hold up to 1,000 tracks. Sony W660i is equipped with a new music accessory Snap-on Speakers MPS-75 to let you play the tracks stored on your Walkman® phone out loud. The W660i provides high speed music download and web surfing, it also can deliver RSS feeds to the phone's desktop. It has a 2.0-megapixel camera and Picture Blogging capability. Sony Ericsson W660i will be available in selected markets from Q2 2007.
