Wal-Mart has just slashed its prices on the 16 GB variants of the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C, coming in at $119 and $29 respectively.
The low price requires customers to sign a new two-year contract with Sprint, Verizon or AT&T. That’s a pretty significant price drop, especially for the iPhone 5S which can sometimes run upwards of $189 with a new two-year contract.
The price drops have led to speculation that an iPhone 6 is right around the corner, which just isn’t true. Apple isn’t prone to big surprises like that, and besides, we haven’t even seen any decent leaks of the iPhone 6 yet.
