According to what Nokia has announced, du, the new telecommunications provider in the UAE known fort delivering innovative services (began its mobile service in February 2007) begins to puts forward Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email for their customers in summer 2007. This service Nokia promises will provide secure and easy to use functions of mobile email and PIM. This email service supports industry's different devices besides Nokia portfolio of business devices. As Executive Vice President of du Andrew Grenville said: "Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email perfectly fits into our strategy and underlines the ambition to be an integrated service provider offering voice, data and content services over fixed and mobile networks. As well the above mentioned service will provide du with a flexible and scalable solution that allows the company to bring mobile email to the mass market".
Andrew Grenville also added in his speech that: "We selected Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email platform not only for the extensive range of device support but also for its advanced functionality. With Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email, we are able to provide a solution for every market sector, from a consumer offering through to SME and large corporations' behind-the-firewall requirements. Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email offers access to email, contacts, calendar, device management and synchronization of file and data and enterprise applications. Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email works in ISP, Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes or Groupwise and runs on Symbian, Windows, Palm or Pocket PC platforms. By means of the multi-device support, with "white label" email solution, Nokia has 35 new operators and has sold more than 1.5 million user licenses.
